This nice Thumbprint pattern flat tumbler is in excellent condition for its age. Thumbprint has a variety of names that have been given to it and was made by various factories in non-flint pressed glass, including Challinor, King, McKee and Tarentum. This heavy non-flint tumbler stands 4 1/2 inches tall and has a base and mouth that are just shy of 2 5/8 inches in diameter. There is heavy base rubbing on the bottom of the foot of the glass and a single tiny chip on the bottom of the foot as an isolated defect that cannot be seen. This is a very nice example of an extensive number of forms in the early American pattern glass Thumbprint pattern.
