This 6 1/2 inch bisque figurine is glazed in a shiny glaze. The figure is of a man in colonial dress with a red frock coat, blue breeches, white stocking and a black feathered tri-corner hat. He has a lacy shirt collar and cuffs and a white vest. The figurine is embellished in gold paint. As is the case with many of the bisque figurines, the hand painting is sloppy and there are areas of missed paint under the glaze. The base is stamped Made in Occupied Japan in red on the unglazed base. The stamp is smeared and hard to read.
