This small invalid feeder was obtained in England almost 20 years ago. These little spouted cups were used to feed those too feeble or unable to feed themselves. The spout was used to slowly pour or drop liquids or thickened cereals into the mouth. This particular small feeder will hold only about 3/4 cup of liquid.
This invalid feeder is small, measuring only 5 3/4 inches from handle to spout. The handle has a flat thumb rest to aid in securely holding it. The feeder is decorated only with a soft raised motif around the neck of the feeder that was pressed before the glaze was applied. The base is unmarked.
There are no chips, cracks or damage present. The feeder is in excellent condition.
This would be a wonderful gift for someone who collects medical or health related items. Thinking out of the box, you could also use this to water small plants!
