This unusual framed advertising for Palmolive Soap appears to be from World War ll era. The small print at the bottom of the advertising indicates that the war-time price is two cakes of soap for 25 cents. African natives in dug out canoes are depicted with casks of palm oil that will be used to make Palmolive soap and shampoo. The frame is vintage as well and appears to have had a paper back at one time that is no longer present. The yellowed cardboard shows its age. The frame is 3/4 inch wide all around and the opening of the frame is 8 1/2 x 11 5/8 inches. The exterior measurements of the framed ad are 10 x 13 inches.
