This very pretty individual sized creamer is in the Button Arches pattern produced by George Duncan and Sons in 1897 and later by Duncan and Miller Glass Co, after 1900. The original manufacturer's name for this pattern is Duncan No. 39. It has also been known as Scalloped Diamond Red Top, and Scalloped Daisy Red Top. The creamer is 2 3/4 inches in height. There is excellent preservation of the ruby stain. The creamer is a souvenir piece with engraved inscriptions on both sides of the creamer. On one side it says "Fall Festival, Bland 1913" and on the opposite side "To Clara" Pitcher was purchased in Missouri where there is a town named Bland, however there is no attribution to assure that this is from that town. This is a very wonderful item that is sweet as well as historic.
