This little non-flint glass sits on a squat stem. The height is 3 3/4 inches and the bowl has an inner diameter of 2 1/8 inches. This might be a wine, but I am more inclined to believe that this is an egg cup. Mirror and Loop in flint is a pattern by McKee and this may also be a McKee pattern in the later 1800's. The glass is heavy and substantial for its size with a greenish-yellow fluorescence under black light. There is no purple discoloration present. There is a minute flake that is felt on the rim and this is the only defect that there is to be found. This is a lovely piece of Early American Pattern Glass in a classic pattern.
