This pair of milk glass stoppered barber bottles is lovely with gold highlights on the acanthus leaves that are embossed on the bottles and stoppers. The plain panels that are between the acanthus leaves have small pink flowers with and green leaves. There is some wear to the gold and to the small delicate flowers but at least 75% of the paint is intact, which is quite unusual for cold painted items like this. One bottle has a small 1/4 inch flat chip on the rim of the bottle as the only flaw. The bottles are 8 inches tall without the stoppers and 10 1/2 inches tall with the stopper. These would make a lovely addition to a victorian bedroom, bathroom or vanity.
