This lovely white potter basket is a product of Arnel’s pottery, an American producer of ceramics of varying kinds from the 1800’s through the 1970’s. The company produced a wide variety of grapevine pattern ware in the late 1960-1970’s. This particular version of the white grapevine basket has a delicate pale blue interior that is very lovely. The narrow flared basket stands 9 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches at maximum width. The basket has a high relief pattern of grapevines and leaves while the handle is impressed to resemble a branch. The bottom of the basket is impressed with Arnel’s. Condition is excellent.
