A striking Vintage Bakelite Bangle is presented. The fabulous carvings on this Bakelite bangle truly add to its elegance.

Circa 1930’s-40’s, this Bakelite bangle measures a tad over ½ inch wide. The inside diameter is the standard and comfortable 2 ½ inches wide. The domed, Art Deco inspired surface and deep carvings, create a depth of ¼ of an inch. The color is deep cream corn colored Bakelite, which provides a perfect palate of the wonderful deep carvings. There is a definite repeating pattern to the carvings around the entire surface of this Bakelite bangle. Between four areas of very deeply carved diagonally carved areas with horizontal carvings inside, there are abstract deco inspired carvings (see photos). The diagonally carved areas enable these abstract carvings to stand out even more. SEE ALL PHOTOS.

The patina is bright and shiny on this vintage Bakelite bangle and it tests positive for Bakelite. It is in pristine condition, free of any damage whatsoever.

It is ready to be worn and enjoyed either alone or with other Bakelite bangles.
