Discover what the director of New York’s Whitney Museum discovered in 1932…the pure copper magic of Francisco Rebajes! This impressive cuff is a prime example of Rebajes’ “flat look” work that was hand assembled into unique jewelry art. His love of nature is evident in the leaf design and his background of fashioning jewelry from tin cans is also apparent. This cuff is made of copper-clad tin with applied oxidized copper leaves. It measures 2 ¼” wide, 5 ¾” interior circumference, and has a 1 1/8” opening. It should easily fit a 7 to 7 ¼” wrist. Four flat rivets on the inside show how the articulated leaves are attached. It also has the distinctive Rebajes signature on one side of the opening. It is in excellent condition.
