These Richard Kerr puffy teardrop earrings are covered with at least one hundred handset black faceted crystals. They sparkle as they catch the light for a warm and elegant star-like twinkle. They look like upside down apostrophes with their ballooned teardrop shape. They each measure 1” wide and 2” long (1/4” wide at the clip area). They are in excellent condition and are signed Richard Kerr.
FYI: Richard Kerr’s company produced some of its most spectacular and glitziest earrings during the 1970s and into the 1980s. All were handcrafted and it is said that the number of Austrian crystals used in a pair could number as many as 1,000. Kerr was a WWII vet and became the head of his father’s jewelry company in 1966 following his father’s death.
Voss Vintage Chic guarantees all items as described and photographed.
