Facing “Cs” of black and clear glass with gilt metal mountings and glass-based faux pearls comprise this unusual necklace made for Chanel in the 1960s. Each link was hand-blown then pierced to remain hot so it could be wired. The process insured that there would be a slight variation in each link’s shape and size. While many Seguso pieces have only the gold-tone plated end caps, this necklace also has gold-look bars and small faux pearls to separate the double “C” Chanel logo. The gold look bars have a patina consistent with the age of the piece. This necklace does not have the typical AS box clasp and it has likely been replaced with a simple spring clasp but we still are 99% certain this is a genuine Seguso piece. Our price reflects the fact that it is not signed. It is in very good vintage condition
