The sun is always shining...when you wear this fabulous Miriam Haskell necklace with its playful butterfly-shaped pendant from the late 1960s or early 1970s.
Luminous bright yellow pâte de verre art glass beads along with round and oval glass beads are interspersed with multiples of small beads all in the same wonderful hue. The beads get longer and more irregularly shaped as they approach the attached pendant. The large glass loops representing butterfly wings on the pendant are anchored with an antiqued gold tone filigree metal in a floral pattern typical of vintage Haskell pieces. You must view the photographs to get the full “picture” so to speak. The piece measures 26” and the pendant adds another 2 1/2”. The pendant itself is 3 1/4” wide and just under 2 1/2” high. It is in very good condition and is signed Miriam Haskell on the clasp.
