Ornate and fanciful, this pin and earring set by REJA has an unusual color combination that is quite striking. The intricate design captures an abstract leaf pattern that flows like vines in a well-kept garden. Rich ruby-colored stones accent robin-egg blue cabochons that are mottled with gold-tones. It appears to be rhodium plated metal and looks so much like silver that it fools the eye. The design is accented by clear rhinestones to add definition and spark. The pin measures 2 1/2" wide by 3" long. Each earring is 5/8" wide and 2 1/4" high. It is in very good condition.
The manufacturer/designer operated under the REJA name from 1941 until its closure in 1953 and was known for its high quality and stylish design that was floral-themed, in fact, they did produce series titled “Gardenesque.”
