1940s Green and Pink Crib Quilt
Here is a wonderful little crib quilt with green hexagons with pink knotted yarn in the center. There are also pink hexagons with yellow designs with pink knotted yarn in the center. The pink hexagons form a star in the center and a larger circle around the center star and a partial circle on two sides of the quilt. It appears to be lined with pink satin and was made in the 1940s.
DIMENSIONS: The quilt is approximately 34 3/4 inches (86.8 cm) wide and 49 inches (122.5 cm) long.
CONDITION: There is staining to the lining which is fairly heavily worn around the edges where it attaches to the quilt top. There are also some small holes in the front of the quilt on individual squares. Still this quilt would make a lovely cover for a baby's or child's bed.
