Beautiful early 1879 marked F9G block letter, she stands 22" in height. Beautiful face and coloring, large bulgy blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth, lovely long curled eyelashes, softly stroked eyebrows, corner of eyes red dots and in nostrils, defined philtrum, and chin with lovely extended edge of lips that are outlined, very full and pretty colored cheeks, pierced ears, swivel neck; Her original blonde wig is very full, cascading down her back. There is no damage or repair to her beautiful bisque. Her wooden body is in particularly good original condition with slight wear at the back of her knees that is expected, her fingertips show some wear. She wears a full slip that is original to her, including matching pantaloons that tie and a half slip, both have eyelets and a scalloped edge. She wears a pink silk dress of vintage silks; the darling dress closes at the front with little snaps. The bodice is decorated with beautiful Ivory inset piping; the front of bodice has two rows of four tiny antique pearl buttons that match the buttons at her sleeve ends. The matching hat is adorned with tiny lace around the edges, a rose made of suede in shades of tan at front, the front outer crown of her hat has long ivory leaves set under a soft group of white puffs of fur. Her blonde wig is original to her that cascades down her back. She has white knit stockings; her black shoes are marked Bebe Jumeau Depose, they each have a small area at the top sides of them where the stitching has started to come loose.
