This lovely 20th C serving spoon is by Gorham, pattern "Old Colony-Old." It measures L. 9" and the bowl measures 3" wide. This pattern was created in 1896. This spoon weighs 2 troy ounces. It is in very good condition consistent with age. There are a few very minor pinpoints and surface scratches on the bowl.
Gorham is one of the world's most well known silver manufacturers. The company started in 1831. Eventually, it was acquired by Lenox Group, now operating under the name Lenox Corp.
