this body is a BRU body circa 1885.
I had found a bebe BRU with a similar body straight from a house in 1989 ! see last 6 pics.
needs a head which looks like the heads of the BEBE MODELE or the BEBE BREVETE .
total length about 8 1/2" (8.45 in) or 24 cm.
diameter for the neck opening 1.18" (3 cm).
good condition with original painting and body finish, minor wears, the extremity of one toe is missing (it is easy to repair), at the other foot the extremity of a toe has been reglued. see pics.
note that this body is similar to the Jumeau body all in wood with 8 separate balls.
