this french body stands about 14 1/6" length (36 cm).
Made by BRU , circa 1890-1895.
stamped in blue 'BEBE BRU N° 8'.
ideal for a closed mouth or open mouth BRU Jne or BRU Jne R head size 8 of the same period.
model entirely in wood (except the torso in paper mache), fully jointed.
very good condition : original painting and body finish but some minor touch ups at the neck opening and at one leg opening - see pics - . minor chips of painting, minor flaw at the opening for the left leg.
diameter for the neck opening : 1 1/2" (4 cm).
you can combine the items, if you have paid many times the shipping fees you ll have a refund.
