Contents: Largely unknown and unpublished, many of the manuscripts at Waddesdon are among the best products of Flemish, French and Italian workshops of the later Middle Ages. Some are valuable for their texts, others for the richness of their illumination. The 46 color and numerous black-and-white illustrations, as well as the descriptions and index, provide the specialist with useful documentation and reference material. The bindings of the manuscripts in the collection are described by Graham Pollard.
