Pre-Columbian Mexican Pottery Head

Pre-Columbian slip pottery head with perforations to the ears. The sculpted head is perfectly burnished red pottery and created with skill. It probably represents a Colima Shaman from the small state of Colima people in Mexico. This pottery is dated to about 250 BC - 250 AD.

The head is mounted on a wood panel. Good Pre-Columbian Antique condition. Break to one ear.
