For sale is this pre-1930 Lenox teapot, creamer and sugar bowl, all with a floral silver overlay. I do not know the exact flower, but it looks like possibly an orchid or an iris. The porcelain is mottled brown and the overlay has a heavy patina throughout. The teapot measures approximately 5 1/2" tall to the tip of the lid and 5 1/8" in diameter. It includes a removable porcelain tea strainer which attaches to the lid. There is a chip with a crack on the inside lip of the lid. The sugar bowl measures approximately 4 1/4" to the tip of the lid and 6 1/4" wide at the handles. There is a chip with a crack on the inside lip of this lid as well. The creamer measures approximately 3 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" wide from the handle to the tip of the spout. Included is a third lid, which went to a coffee pot for for this set. It is slightly smaller than the teapot lid, but does hold the strainer and fits on the teapot. The last picture is of the coffee pot lid inside the teapot.
There is tarnish to the silver overlay, which shows some wear. Each piece bears the monogram "E" on one side. The Lenox mark is visible only under one exposed spot on the metal of the teapot base.
