An exceptionally beautiful and rare Arts & Crafts Pewter Candlestick dating from the early 1900's
Of triangular form with a heart shaped ceramic cabochon on each of the 3 faces
Designed by Archibald Knox with a maker's mark for William Hutton & Sons (crossed arrows), numbered 02208 and retailed by Connell of Cheapside - fully signed on the base
Exudes quality and in very good condition with no "pewter rot" as in often seen on objects of this age, slight unevenness on the underside but stands without wobble; the beautiful cabochons are in original condition and without damage.
Measures: 24.5 cm high on a triangular base with 11 cm sides
