A highly collectible, original Circus Poster dating from around 1900
By the renowned artist and caricaturist Henri Gray (aka Henri Boulanger; 1858-1924)
"Cirque d'Été" featuring a Troupe of Gypsies
It was printed by "V. Palyart & Fils-Paris" and, in the upper section, also bears an official Duty mark (see penultimate photo): "République Française" (required for public display)
Measures: 127.5 cm by 86.5 cm
Very good condition: It has no damage (i.e. tears, holes) but has some fold marks. It's been framed and mounted on board under plexiglass as shown in the last photo. It can be shipped either in its frame or, if preferred by the buyer, by removing the poster from its frame and rolling it on a tube. Clearly, there will be a significant difference in shipping cost (to be determined after the order is placed).
