This 1920 -1940's ladies compact is an adorable piece. From the pictures you will see a double compact with spring action closure. One side has a place for non-filtered cigarettes and the other side has a powder compact and place for a small lipstick. Opposite of powder side is a mirror, usable but has some discoloration do to age. This piece could now be retrofitted for business cards on one side and on the other side for money as there is a clip there to what would have held the cigarettes. The outside of the compact has a embossed gold colored filigree with off set finger opening which I have captured in the photo's. There are some superficial scratches on the black glossy exterior which is only noticeable if the light hits it correctly. A stunning piece and certainly an eye capture if using for business cards
