This is a stunning Coro Gold Tone pin made of light weight material in the shape of feathers with a center of 8 clear stones surrounding a larger clear stone . The Coro founders, Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger opened an accessory store in New York city in 1901. The corporate name became Coro in 1943 and became the largest manufacturer of costume jewelry in the U.S by 1920's and eventually moved to Rhode Island. Coro pieces were always signed in script, which can be found on the back of this piece. The business was sold in 1970. This is an eye catching pin.
