This is a beautiful Onyx (label intact on top) clock with movement by Sessions. The Sessions clock company went from oak -cased kitchen clocks to regulator clocks until 1930's when the company went to electric clocks. The Sessions clock company was located in Connecticut until selling their business in 1958 to Consolidated Electronics Industries Corporation of New York. They continued to make electric clocks in Forestville, Connecticut plant until 1968 shunting down the plant after 137 years. The cord on the clock was worn in several spots so I had a new cord applied before placing this item for sale for safety reasons. This clock runs well and keeps accurate time and would look great in any room as it is a classic.
