This listing is for a large hand painted 19th Century Royal Worcester porcelain ewer. The ewer has soft cream background with a beautifully decorated enameled floral design with intricate details in tones of rose, blue, green and pink with gilded highlights on the petals and leaves. Wonderful detail in the antler handle which is embellished with thick gilt decorated bands and highlights. The upper and lower rims are also gilded. The ewer is marked with the Royal Worcester trademark stamp in purple ink with "Reg. No. 37112" and style number "1116". The Royal Worcester date mark indicates the ewer was made in 1889, however the English Registry Number designates the year as 1885.
Dimensions: 11 1/2" high, 7 1/2" wide with a 4 3/4" diameter base. Weighs 1.13 pounds.
Condition: Ewer is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
