This listing is for a lovely pair of Sterling Silver 6" candlesticks made by Mauser Mfg. Co. of New York in business from 1887-1913. The candlesticks have a slender body with highly chased designs with cherubs on both the front and back. The top of each candlestick has a softly ruffled edge.
Dimensions: 6" high with a 1 7/8" diameter top and 2 1/8" diameter base. Combined weight is 145 grams.
Condition: Both candlesticks are in good Estate condition with only a few flaws that really don't detract from the appearance of these unusual pieces. The embossed silver bodies are in excellent condition although on one candlestick, there is a small dent on top of base. The second candlestick has a couple of faint no-harm dents on the rounded sides from normal wear and the upper edge is slightly less ruffled than the other. This candlestick also weighs heavier as there has been an old repair on inside at top of domed base. Please look at all photos as they are considered part of the description.
