The iconic "Repousse" pattern by S. Kirk & Son made its debut in 1828 making it the oldest Sterling Silver pattern produced in the United States where its remained to this day as one of the most popular patterns ever created. To create this pattern, the Philadelphia trained silversmith Samuel Kirk revived an ancient technique known as "repousse" to create an embossed design that is both versatile and instantly recognized.

Condition: This lovely bowl is in excellent Estate condition with no dents, dings or repairs reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear including slight rubbing from polishing on interior bottom and minor scratches on base from table wear.
