This listing is for a gorgeous Tiffany FAVRILE gold iridescent Art Glass bowl/dish decorated with engraved leaf design in center with deeply scalloped upper rim. Glass has silvery-blue and bronze highlights with some of the leaves having a green cast. Marked with etched signature "L. C. T." on base. Favrile glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's Aurene glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
Dimensions: 1 1/2" high and 6 1/4" in diameter. Weighs 9.4 ounces.
Condition: Dish is in very good Estate condition with the only noted flaw being a very tiny nick on outside edge under rim only noticed upon very close inspection. The base has been polished around pontil for dish to set level, however, we believe this was done before it left the factory.
