This listing is for a lovely set of twelve (12) Dominick & Haff partial gilt Sterling Silver egg or sorbet spoons in the MAZARIN pattern issued in 1892. This nice design has an embossed egg and dart edging that extends from the gold washed egg shaped bowl upward on the stem ending with a cartouche on handle end. No monograms. Each stem is marked with Dominick & Haff trademark stamp and "Sterling, Pat. 92" with retailer's stamp "B.B.&B. Co." for Bailey, Banks & Biddle. Dominick & Haff were in business in New York NY from 1872-1928 when they were absorbed into Reed & Barton. Bailey, Banks & Biddle were both silver makers and retailers of quality silver items in Philadelphia PA from 1878.
Dimensions: 4 1/2" long. Combined weight is 155 grams.
Condition: Each of these spoons is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
