This listing is for a lovely Tiffany FAVRILE blue iridescent Art Glass footed salt cellar, c. 1900. This salt has a silvery-blue iridescent coloration with purple highlights. Marked "L. C. T.". "Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
Dimensions: 1 1/4" high and 2" in diameter. Weighs 1.7 ounces.
Condition: This salt cellar in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
