This listing is for a pair of lovely French porcelain bolted vases with elaborate gilded handles and plinth bases. The vases have a rich brick red color with gilt embellishment and a medallion on one side with two views of boys at play with musical instruments and on the reverse is a pavilion scene etched in a gilded medallion. I don't believe the vases originally had lids as the gilding is also inside the top rim.
Dimensions: 8 1/2" high with a top diameter of 4 3/4" (outside collar) and a 2 1/2" square base. Combined weight is 2.9 pounds.
Condition: Both vases are in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There is some very slight rubbing/wear on some of the gilded area but nothing that detracts from the beauty of these vases.
