This listing is for a beautiful Tiffany Favrile gold iridescent Art Glass miniature cabinet vase or toothpick holder, c. 1900. This item has vibrant gold iridescence with highlights of silver, blue, purple and bronze and punched sides. Marked "L. C. T.". "Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
Dimensions: 2" high with the top opening being 1 3/8" in diameter. Weighs 1.2 ounces.
Condition: The toothpick holder is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There is a very faint no-harm streak in the iridescence to the left of one of the punched sides.
