This listing is for a lovely pair of Art Glass vases, c. 1880. This stunning pair of vases have a satin (acid) finish with hand enameled floral design on front side with a crimped upper rim. The decoration is similar to that used by Mt. Washington on their Burmese glass but we are uncertain of the maker. The vases appear to be over-fired as the color is consistent throughout rather than having Burmese or Peach Blow coloration.
Dimensions: 6 1/2" high with a top diameter of 5" and maximum width of 5". The combined weight is 1.8 pounds.
Condition: One vase is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The second vase has a small nick on the underside of the fluted edge rim that is not noticed without close inspection (see photos). We are selling the one good vase and including the second vase in order to keep the vases together and as cabinet pieces, the noted flaw on the second vase does not show at all.
