The ruby glass background is covered with gold filigree details of a type generally associated with Moser glass. The top is scalloped and cut with gilt decorated points and sits on a beautifully formed gilt bronze bolted base decorated with molded beads and a scalloped base.
Dimensions: 3 3/4" high with a top diameter of 3 3/4" and base diameter of 2 1/8". Weighs almost 9 ounces.
Condition: This master salt is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips, cracks or repairs to the glass or bronze base. There is minor wear to the gilded upper edge of salt and tops of the glass jewels which is expected with gilding on a piece from this period.
