This listing is for a German bisque porcelain pincushion doll with painted facial features including intaglio eyes, open arms, delicate fingers on hands and beautifully arranged mohair wig. Doll is wearing vintage clothing with lace trim with ribbon woven through the lace design and has a silk flower pinned to her hair. This beautiful doll dates from the late 19th Century.
Dimensions: 4 1/2" high (as positioned on stand) and about 1 1/4" wide (at arms).
Condition: This lovely doll is in very good Estate condition with a beautiful display appearance. Under her gown is a full cloth body missing one porcelain leg which obviously does not show when displayed. Her porcelain head, shoulders and arms are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Her clothing is in good condition with no noted flaws other than slight discoloration with age. The stand with glass dome top is included for protection and display as that is how I purchased her. Base to dome top has been painted gold and is being included as found.
