This listing is for a nice Tiffany "Favrile" gold iridescent Art Glass salt cellar, c. early 1900's. The vibrant gold iridescent coloration is stunning with highlights of purple, gold and green iridescence and in certain lighting it has an icy-blue iridescent interior. The upper edge has wide open ruffles/scallops and the bottom is marked with etched signature "L. C. T". Favrile glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's Aurene glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.

Condition: Salt cellar is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
