This listing is for an unusual gold Aurene triangular shaped nappy dish, shape #2670 produced during the Frederick Carder era at Steuben. The nappy is decorated with a golden bronze Aurene iridescent color with a triangular shaped body with attached finger hold. The gold iridescence has strong highlights of blue with bronze and purple. This lovely glass was created by Frederick Carder for Steuben Glass in Corning, N.Y. and was produced from 1905-1920. Items produced during the Frederick Carder era at Steuben Glass Works are all highly desired and are included in all major American Art Glass collections. Glass is unmarked but is guaranteed to be as represented.
Dimensions: 2 1/2" high (to top of handle), 1 1/2" high (to top of nappy), 3 7/8" wide (including handle) with a 1 1/2" pedestal base. Weighs 4.2 ounces.
Condition: Nappy is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
