This listing is for a lovely Carder Era Steuben Gold AURENE trifold shaped nut dish, #231. The dish has beautiful coloration in the glass with rich iridescent golden tones and blue/purple hues. Aurene glass was the creation of Frederick Carder, one of the founders of Steuben Glass in Corning, N.Y. Etched signature on base with "Aurene" and shape "#231". Items produced during the Frederick Carder era at Steuben Glass Works are all highly desired with examples included in most major American Art Glass collections.
Dimensions: 2 1/4" high with a top width of 3 3/4" and the base is 1 1/2".
Condition: This stunning piece is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
