This listing is for a lovely Qing Dynasty Peking Glass snuff bottle with enamel decoration in medallions on both the front and back. The bottle is a beautiful white color glass with translucent red (cherry amber color) cabochon cut button stopper. The three medallions on one side of body are painted with swimming ducks, two ripe pomegranates and a grasshopper and the other side is decorated with a group of ducks, a jumping koi fish and a group of cut pomegranates. There is an unidentified signature written within the raised foot ring.
Dimensions: 3" high (to top of bottle), 3 1/2" high (to top of lid), 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" deep. Weighs 4.8 ounces.
Condition: This nice bottle is in excellent Estate condition with nice painting and no noted flaws. There are a couple of pin-point specks on the outside body and a foam wrap has been attached to stopper to keep it in place. Spoon with original attachment to stopper are missing.
