This listing is for a beautiful Tiffany Favrile gold iridescent Art Glass miniature cabinet vase with pigtail decoration, c. 1900. This item has striking coloration with a silvery-gold iridescence at the top with the bottom half of the vase having strong silvery-blue iridescent highlights that become stronger at the base. The body is decorated with random pigtails encircling the body. Marked "L. C.T." and "T 5800". "Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th Century. Arthur Nash is credited for much of the striking and desirable work produced by Tiffany.

Condition: This lovely cabinet vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
