Nice English Sterling Silver sugar shaker or muffineer with elaborate repousse embossed decoration made by Henry Wigfull. The top has a matching design to the body with shaker holes placed in each corner. The finial on top and the feet are also highly decorated. Silver has lovely aged patina. Marked on base with English hallmarks for Sheffield, Sterling, date letter for 1896 and maker's stamp for Henry Wigfull who registered his mark in 1879.
Dimensions: 8" high, 3" wide (side to side) with a 1 5/8" square top opening. Weighs 205 grams.
Condition: Shaker is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws reflecting only minimal signs of wear appropriate with age and normal use.
