This listing is for a beautiful Tiffany Favrile blue iridescent Art Glass salt cellar, c. 1900. This nice salt cellar has a free-form scalloped upper edge with silver highlights. Marked with etched signature "L. C. T. Favrile, 1255" on base. This salt cellar is pictured on page 22, Illustration #42 of the book The Open Salt Compendium" by Sandra Jzyk & Nina Robertson. "Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.

Dimensions: 1" high and 2 7/8" in diameter. Weighs 2 ounces.

Condition: This nice salt cellar is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
