This listing is for a gorgeous Tiffany FAVRILE gold iridescent Art Glass salt cellar, c. early 1900's. The vibrant gold iridescent coloration has strong highlights of purple and blue. The ruffled/scalloped top edge is fairly uniform where most of the salts have more of a free-form irregular crimping. Marked with etched signature "L. C. T., Favrile". Favrile glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's Aurene glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
