This listing is for gorgeous Sterling Silver demitasse pot made by the Whiting Mfg. Co. in the late 19th Century. The pot has a paneled shape with chased decoration in relief on each panel. The lid is hinged with a tight hinge and opens and closes properly. There is a fancy 3-letter monogram on front with initials "H N N". Pot is marked with the trademark stamp for the Whiting Mfg. Co. of New York NY in business from 1866 until 1926 when they were absorbed into Gorham. Pot also marked "Sterling, 8255, 1 Pint 3 Gills, 925/1000 Fine".
Dimensions: 8 3/4" high, 7" wide (spout to handle) with an overall width of 3 1/2". Weighs 500 grams.
Condition: This beautiful pot is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
