This listing is for a lovely travel clock with hallmarked English Sterling Silver and aqua blue engine-turned guilloche enamel decorated case, c. early 1900's. Case is framed in Sterling Silver with English hallmarks for Birmingham, Sterling, date letter for 1928 and unidentified maker's initials "A L D". Clock has a cream colored face with nice brass bezel that is decorated with engraved Greek Key design and has Swiss 8-day movement with easel back for standing.
Dimensions: Clock measures 3 7/8" high and 4 1/4" wide. The face including bezel measures 2 1/8" in diameter. Weighs 4 ounces.
Condition: The clock's case is in very good Estate condition although there is a slight dent in the silver on left bottom edge with small enamel loss above (see photos). Although the clock works, it does not keep accurate time and probably needs cleaning or minor adjustments. We are selling this lovely clock "as found".
