This pretty silver plated stand is fitted with a light blue shading to white mother-of-pearl decorated satin glass dish, c. 1880-1900. The glass dish/bowl insert has a wavy herringbone design and six-sided upper rim. The bowl fits perfectly in the stand which is marked "EPNS" (Electro Plated Nickle Silver) on the base with number "8595". These stands came in assorted shapes and sizes and were fitted with inserts of the various glass produced during the Victorian Period.
Dimensions: Bowl measures 2 3/4" high and 5" in diameter. Stand measures 6 3/8" high with a maximum width of 6 1/2".
Condition: The stand is in very good Estate condition with no noted flaws and the bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
