Unusual Mid-Century gilt decorated Sterling Silver and enamel tea strainer made by David Anderson, Norway. The strainer has a gold washed body with the top having a wide cobalt gilt decorated enamel band with white enamel ring around outer edge and white "jewels" encircle the strainer area. The handle is also enamel decorated to match the body and the strainer has punched holes in an elaborate pattern. There is an unidentified fancy engraved monogram on back of handle. Marked on back "925" with the trademark stamp for David Anderson, Norway.
Dimensions: 3/4" high, 4 1/2" long with a 2 3/4" diameter top. Weighs 50 grams.
Condition: Strainer is in excellent Estate condition with no problems to the gilt exterior or enameling. There is one very faint dent in the center of the strainer that is barely noticeable.
